Privacy Policy

Sonshine Sweets Cakery, LLC ("Sonshine & Sweets," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Orders. When you check out, our payment processor Stripe collects your name, email, phone number, payment details and, for delivery orders, your address. We receive your order details and contact information. We never see or store your full card number.
• Custom quote requests. If you request a quote by email or through our request form, we receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, contact information, event date, design ideas and any inspiration photos you upload. Uploaded photos are sent to our email and used only to plan and quote your order.
• Your cart. Items in your cart are saved in your own browser (local storage) so they are still there if you come back. This information stays on your device.
• Basic technical data. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process standard information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the website.

How we use your information

• To bake, prepare, deliver and confirm your order
• To contact you about your order or quote
• To process payments and prevent fraud
• To meet legal and tax obligations

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run our business, such as Stripe (payments), Google (quote request forms and email) and Cloudflare (website hosting). Each has its own privacy policy. We may also share information if required by law.

Cookies

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Stripe may use cookies on its checkout page to process payments securely and prevent fraud.

How long we keep it

We keep order records as long as needed to serve you and to meet tax and accounting requirements.
